A little about me
Hi, I'm Tara, the face behind Wicked Lash and Beauty.
My journey into the beauty industry actually started while I was working full time in retail. I studied beauty at TAFE at night, knowing that one day I wanted a career that would allow me to keep working while also having the flexibility to be there for my family.
After having my children, Wicked Lash and Beauty became my full time focus, and over the years I've continued building my skills and experience across a range of beauty treatments, with particular experience in lash extensions and IPL.
But the part of my job that has always mattered most to me isn't simply the treatment itself.
It's making women feel good about themselves.
Come as you are
I don't believe visiting your beautician should ever feel intimidating.
You don't need to arrive dressed up. You don't need to know exactly what treatment you need. And you definitely won't be pressured into products, services or treatments that aren't right for you.
I'm pretty easy going, and that's exactly how I want Wicked Lash and Beauty to feel.
Some appointments involve plenty of chatting. Others are a chance to switch off and enjoy a little quiet time. Either way, you'll have my full attention.
I deliberately allow extra time around appointments so you're not made to feel rushed. It's one of the advantages of working one on one from my home salon. I can focus on the person in front of me rather than trying to move through as many appointments as possible.
